Rapid Reagent-less Physical Virus Detection System

NanoEngineering Corp (NE) of West Palm Beach FL has entered into a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA) with the U.S. Army Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC), Edgewood MD.

The agreement facilitated by the T2 Bridge Technology Acceleration program will allow NE to collaborate with researchers at the ECBC for development of field-portable instruments for detection and measurement of nanoscopic particles that include potentially hazardous viruses.

The instrument’s virus detection function is based on patented technology developed at ECBC and NE proprietary technology.

NanoEngineering Corp. Begins 2010 with a Global Nod of Approval


San Diego, CA -   NanoEngineering, Corp. based in West Palm Beach, Florida was selected as one of eight companies worldwide to participate in the ALA (Association of Laboratory Automation) Innovation AveNew program during the Lab Automation 2010 conference.  As one of the selected companies, NanoEngineering was offered a booth and an all-expense paid trip to the conference.  The conference which took place in January in Palm Springs CA provided NanoEngineering Corp. the opportunity to display their high resolution DMA technology.


The AveNew program provides emerging start-up companies the opportunity to market their technology at the ALA annual conference and trade show.  The winners were selected by an international consortia of non- profit scientific organizations; BioAlps, Switzerland, and DECHEMA, Germany and of course ALA.

Cutting-edge biochemistry instrument delivered to US Dept. of Energy molecular-sciences lab.

Battelle has purchased the first Differential Mobility Analyzer- Mass Spectrometer (DMA-MS) instrument from SEADM SL, for use at the Environmental Molecular Sciences Laboratory (EMSL) operated by Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). The DMA-MS will aid in their analysis of complex biochemical samples which may contain DNA, RNA, proteins, peptides and other bio-molecules.
